Intro to Glass Fusing
If you've always wanted to try glass fusion, wait no longer. Our Glass Fusing Center (GFC) is a great place to try your hand. We have lots of pre-cut blanks in various sizes to use as your base. Then using pre-cut pieces or cut some shapes yourself, you decorate the blank. We give you instruction on how to use mosaic cutters, place your design elements, how different colors work and lots more. After you place all your pieces, just leave the rest to us. We fire it in one of our kilns and if you want, we can then slump (shape) it into a bowl, candle votive or dish. The firing usually takes 24 hours and so does the slumping. In just a couple of days you have your first piece of kiln fired glass art. It's that easy. No need to sign up for a class. Just call to set up a time. It usually takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete your first piece. And no glass cutting experience is required. The best part is that projects start at just $10.
$10 plus project cost

Ikebana
Create a beautiful Japanese style Ikebana floral dish. You will decorate and 8" round or square glass base that will then be fired and slumped into a special mold to form the recessed area to put your flowers and leaves into. No glass cutting experience is required and all materials are supplied.

Kiln Fired Jewelry
Using Dichroic glass you will make several cabachons, earrings and pendants. Glass cutting experience is helpful, but not required. After cutting your glass, we will fire it in our kilns. A demo of how jewelry is cut and fired will be shown. All glass and materials are supplied, but a glass cutter and breaking tools are required and available for purchase at a discount.
